i don’t think they will drop everything and move only to smartphones. The
handhelds, and consoles are the foundation of the company. But i maybe i’m
just telling myself this so i feel better haha

Welcome to the 301 club. How tough are ya?

I really hope that they still are going to make the better games for the
    Wii U and the 3DS!

Finally, someone who pronounces DeNA properly. Fed up of people saying its
    ‘Deena’ for example

who cares , its their company , their decisions to make . the only thing is
ios gamers dont play nintendo games , hope they know that .

  • AmpersandFB says:

There’s no way Nintendo will stop making console games. They have already
stated that won’t happen and this is reason they partnered with DeNA to
    handle the mobile division.

I think it’s kinda funny they announce that they’re going to make phone
games right after SEGA said the same.
I get why SEGA would do it, they are losing money quickly and it’s
expensive to make console games, so of course they are going to make phone
games instead, because it’s cheaper. But I don’t get why Nintendo would do
this… Their games sell great, and they make a lot of money (even though
the WIIU isn’t doing well) I just don’t see why they would go over to IOS
    and Android.
I feel like they are kinda attacking SEGA, but maybe I’m just.. Fanboying?
    even though I’m not a fanboy… maybe I’m a little grandmothery towards
SEGA here.. I don’t know. I just feel like they are attacking SEGA a bit…
    maybe I’m just weird.

Like you have stated earlier, they are a business. This will make them a
whole lot of money, and I don’t think it will distract them very much. As
long as they keep delivering quality Wii U and 3ds games, they can put
Pokemon Shuffle on they App Store for all I care.

  • Roman Gonzalez says:

What month do you accept to see the first Nintendo mobile game on the app
    store?

  • bacca bananas says:

    another bd thing ios.7

  • patrickgaming says:

Or this is good because they have more money to make the games

  • Nicky The Master of the Yoshis! says:

They could have Bluetooth controllers like that Skylanders game

  • jacob fields says:

*Facepalm* they’re talking about old games and stuff like that. Not the
    newest games.

  • Ivan Cruz says:

I don’t really have an issue with this but if the quality of their games
drops, then I’ll be done with Nintendo. Nintendo is no providing games I
want right now. They are making fantastic games this year but that’s yet to
be see. Hopefully the bigger games will be good.

  • CloudStrifeff123 says:

There are no plans to release already released games (like Zelda Majoras
Mask, Zelda Ocarina of Time, Super Mario Sunshine etc.) for iOS and Android.
Rather than that they want to focus on NEW games. This might have nothing
to do with all the current Nintendo marks such as Mario or Zelda but maybe
they release some spin-offs or minigames.
    Btw: What about Windows Phone?

  • Mr. Variant says:

Good vid but there will always be third party games that are good On
nintendo’s hardware and actually have price drops sometimes. Wish outrun
had step on beat but I love rhythm thief and gunman Clive 2 is a great
sequel on a budget. Love the lady’s peach floating jump

  • thuggie1 says:

i don’t think it will detract from them making console games if you look
at the 80′s they had ip’s like Donkey Kong and Mario on other platform. to
be honest they spent more time on their console version of the games.
